Just read a review of the Denver - Pepsi Center concert by Jon Solomon at westword.com. Jon gives a fair and balanced review of the concert - and of Roth's performance. But boy oh boy, the comments posted by fans that saw the show are ripping Roth's? half-assed singing. One fan at the show posted, "Dave was simply sad to watch." ps Kool and the Gang got AAA+++ reviews for their performance - which I was very glad to see.

Saw the show in Vancouver and have? to agree Diamond Dave was painful, but Eddie Van Halen is to me the best guitarist in the world. Not his lead stuff, which is amazing, but the fill and chord changes.I can't rave enough about his incredible talent. His sound just fills.He stands out, up there with Jimi Hendrix. Pepsi Center Denver Roth was? a train wreck. I was embarrassed for him but disgusted at the same time. Kool and the Gang were great. I would have been extremely pissed off had it not been for their great show. I loved Van Halen in the 80s and 90s but I wouldn't see them again. Although Eddie Van Halen and the band were great. They played almost too loud. To drown out Roth, I guess.

At least there is an internet now and wannabees can get good instruction (this vid w/ young Mr. Spaulding for examp.) along with all the other crap. I am 50 years old i have a background in art and i am a licensed hair stylist. Where i live there are a total of 2 tattoo shops and the artists arent really that good from the work? i saw. I cant do any better though. a friend of mine asked to apprentice in both shops and was flatly and rudely denied. so we teach ourselves!!!

When I wanted to learn tattooing years ago I asked for help/couldn't get it/bought cheap shit and scratched away/showed tattooists photos/they figured they better help me/apprenticed. Fortunately I had a medical back ground and formal art training. My first few tats were okay--but they were given free. So were the cover ups (lol!!!) down the road. Huck Spaulding took the time to answer my written questions and questions over the phone. U were Nu 2 once. Let's help new? people.

How come i have problems packing color in it seems like it doesnt want to go into the skin and i dont want to keep going over it for fear of tearing up the skin! Heya i have got 2 tattos and it depends where you want to get them, on the fleshy part of the hip it is less painfull but it hurts more? o the ribs and feet and all bone. it is not a pain that is unbearable it just has a certain type of pain which some people can take and some people canot take. if you are tollorant of pain then i would reccoment getting a sall tattoo to start that you can build on if you wish. i also reccomend taking frineds if your allowed because this takes your mind off :)
