I don't really care for white people (and I know they don't care for me, so save it people) but I love Nova Scotia. I was there for Spring Thaw? or something like that and it was the best time. On the beach at night was magic and the people treated me not so bad seeing as how I'm tall, highly melininated with waist length locks. Big up to Nova and it's people and the food.

Halifax is the 2nd best city to party in? Canada... after St.John's lol. I love it here, gorgeous province. I've been to large, famous cities around the world such as New York, Rome, and London, but the feel of Halifax just makes it my favorite. Such a pretty, small & comfortable place to be. Can't wait to get back.

To say? that Canada "belongs" to the British is like saying Christmas is a simple religious holiday with few social or cultural conventions worth mentioning, centred on the church really. I grew up in Hali meeself in the 70s...back then it was a town divided between QE(queen elizabeth high school, and? the "south end") and the North end...protestant uptown (south) and catholic, immigrant, poor, or otherwise maginalzed north. Probably much more Irish than most Irish towns, really...thing was we were ALL British North Americans despite being from Scots, Highland, Irish or Limey descent.Hell even our French were proud of our pipers, Black Watch and crier. Awww, what a nice vid. Everyone in the vid has such a peaceful tone of voice, alot different then if you'd look up a vid about New York which is where Im from. I may be from NY & love the attractions but I CANT STAND the chaos, dirtiness, & the rude rush-rush mentality. But when I research about Nova? Scotia I just find the kindest words about it. For the most part, yes. Due to the fact? that our winters are pretty damn unpredictable seeing as our climate is fucked. Our (my family) car has winter tires on it, but our van doesn't. And most people don't bother to get them on because they don't see the point of it. And yes, the Atlantic Ocean is right down the road from me. Haha

Is it true that Nova Scotia people don't have winter tires on their cars? I read on a forum once about "How much snow it takes to close your school" and someone from Nova Scotia said about 4 inches because everybody has all season tires since I think it's? because the snowfall is not constant enough due to how close to the Atlantic ocean they are. (actually right by it)

Its sad to think there are people willing to disrespect some one for their way of life. I'm guessing you have never had the chance to experience lobster fishing for one day, so imagine a fishermen only having 9 weeks to make an income for in most cases 2 to 3 family s, what do you do for a living? is it a sustainable way of life? are you? responsible for the lives of your crew when you go to work? try a "REAL JOB" on my boat, you wouldn't last a week.

Just got back from 2 weeks in Halifax and did lots of touring at night and on the weekends. Driving up through Mahone Bay, St Margarets Bay, Glen Margaret etc we would see hundreds and hundreds of feet of nets and buoys strung along the gravel shoulder and on the guardrails, WHY? been in plenty of wind but nothing close to 100? knot, our boats are only 45 feet long and we fish offshore . the ramp was put there because the boat always had a closed in stern . we couldn`t cut the stern out because there was a fuel tank at the end of it, and fishing trawls we didn`t want to have to go push every pot overboard, a lot safer and its pretty cool to watch them shoot overboard lol

lol, that is exactly why we are having a hard time teaching him to speak; he rarely barks! The only time is when strangers come to the door. I will have to find away to get him to bark...? he does seem to get very curious with birds/squirrels, I will have to work on more commands with him. Thanks for the great advice!

I don't know about your dog, Orry is NOT a barker. We didn't hear him bark until he was about 6? months. Out of everything we tried, we found one thing that made him bark. It was a surgical tool that makes a very high pitch sound. Just be creative.. you might find that one object. haha.

I think it will be good if you can practice letting him off the leash at a dog park. Actually we just went to? a park today with Orry and we let him off the leash... (not supposed to though) and he chased ducks, squirrels, and just running around by himself. Tollers have very strong drive to chase animals. So you need to master "come when called" with your dog before you let him off the leash. As for "speak", you need to find a trigger that makes him bark. (continue..)

We haven't brought him home, yet (he needs to be fixed, first) but, we have been visiting daily and playing with? him.
