actually it is possible. the situation you suggest sounds good but my experience with dual compartment mop buckets is that there is a fair bit of spill over when you wring out the mop. i would use different mop head, antibacterial agent in water and change water between areas when you press the mop head with? the wringer it sprays/spills dirty water over into the "Clean" compartment. and the mop head is still contaminated when it goes back into the clean to re-wet

If you want to damage your wood floors go ahead and ty this otherwise the best way to clean wood floors is to take? a lint free towl and put it on the end of a swiffer type mop. use a spray bottle with pure water to dampen the cloth, mop spraying as needed but it should never be wet and dry almost instantly!
