Either way, I think Connery gets the points for being the first movie James? Bond because Casino Royale was a live television play that ran under an hour. But yes, Barry Nelson was the first screen Bond, but Connery was the first silver screen Bond. I do want to see that Casino Royale, by the way. It was a low budget ep of Climax! Mystery Theatre adapted by Charles Bennett. It starred Peter Lorre as Le Chiffre, Linda Christian as Valerie Mathis & Michael Pate as Clarence Leiter [not Felix]. It was heavily Americanised & "Jimmy" might as? well have been in CIA. Holness's radio play was true to the Fleming original hence my accrediting him as the 1st Bond. Pretty pathetic that I had to heal myself by reading "self help" health books. Interestingly, I noticed that the Mayo Clinic is recommending a similar diet for those with Parkinson's disease. With the exception, perhaps, of PH's Kangaroo Court 'trials, this point has never been raised in (more-or-less contemporary) income-tax case. But IF it can be shown deductively that what I say is correct (and, of course, it can), then for a? judge NOT to accept it would clearly be malfeasant. I find it a tad bit curious that Congress is deemed to be able to federally EXCISE tax certain (Union-)State enterprises, but, to the extent that SOME (not very many, but some) State-run enterprises are deemed (fed-)excise-taxable, then excise-taxing the officeholders of said enterprise doesn't seem especially implausible/unreachable.
