I had that same problem but? both of my parents were light...it was only until middle and high school did girls pick on me, and one even told me she didn't like me because I was light skinned and felt like I could get away with anything and that I *looked* stuck up. Half of me still think my shade's a curse, a curse given to me by the white man that raped my ancestors. That's what pissed me off, people seem to forget how we GOT this shade in our genes. :\

Thanks for? ans my question. I'm not realy intrested in the FF 4 but I wondered if $20 bucks could turn into $40 in a few years,and I realy liked the cover. Yeah you are right the Marvel Zombies #1 cover was the first. These things were coming out so damn? fast in 2005-2006 it was like hot cakes back then. Gets confusing sometimes. One thing we can agree on is Suydam has the best zombie covers.

I find it strange when people talk about the resurgence of fairytales. To? me fairytales have always been popular and a valuable tool for writers and they always will be. I grew up in the 90s with the Disney Renaissance, the 10th Kingdom, and more young adult fairytale adaptations than you could shake a stick at. I do hope some of these new properties will turn out to be good as Once Upon a Time is a little bland and tedious at the moment.

in my opinion, DC is better presently. but marvel used to be in the 70's, 80's and 90's. don't get me wrong, marvel have some stellar series going on now (daredevil, wolverine and the x-men, and the incredible hulk to name a few) but DC's Vertigo label has mature and arguably the best series out there (sandman, preacher, fables, hellblazer, y: the last man, and 100 bullets). in the end,? it's all up to you.

dont think suicide squad replaced secret six since suicide squad vol 1 is from the 1980's (and a great read!) secret six came out years after and now its back to suicide squad. all of them? really good stories.

My favorite New 52 series right now is 'DC Universe Presents', loving the Deadman story. Also loving 'Detective Comics', 'Batman' and 'Suicide Squad'. 'Action Comics' is also pretty good. I have the Justice League ones but haven't read them yet. I would also recommend 'Last of the? Greats' , awesome indy comic!

Is it just me or does it seem like DC does tend? to focus on it's three golden heroes Superman Batman and WonderWoman whilst Marvel has a much grander scale of looking at its universe, i mean how many mainstream teams can the DC universe name the Justtice League but then Marvel has the Avengers, Fantastic Four, The Xmen and so on, this isnt a criticism of DC just a look at how the two companies differ, DC also have alot more cliche characters ,You know capes boots all that stuff, Marvel dosen't.

@ telewatcher89 (cont'd 3) messed up the avengers & really messed up the x-men & mutants in general.Things look a bit better 4 avengers now ( dont really like the different teams like new,secret? & regular I guess). Cant really say the same thing 4 the x-men (4 now @ least) even with Hope Summers now.What bugs me is how with Marvel 4 ex. they say that something like each time there's a new storyline "things will change forever".& DC?.2 "Crisises" in less then 5 years?.There's some good

That scenario would decribe the Clone Saga of the 90's and yes, some fans are part of the problem. Most fans nowdays want everything in a dark nior style like Batman, but not everything needs to be dark to be serious or somewhat realistic. Look at the Avengers, Quesada and Bendis ruined it by making in dark as well as making Scatlett Witch crazy. And they added Spider-Man and Wolverine to the team just to sell books to? attract fans who only like those two characters. I just hate it.

you could also blame the fans, however Marvel and DC to a lesser degree,? did try to cash in on the craze and produced some really awful comics just to get it done quickly since they knew they'd sell because of the craze and didn't worry about what that would cause in the long run.

The comic Xmen originally came out in 1963. With Prof. X, Cyclops, Angel, Beast, Iceman and Marvel Girl so movie people didn't want to keep original story line. This is my first time watching one of your reviews, and I have to say that it was just... okay. You guys sound knowledgeable and all, but visually it lost my interest very quickly. If there was? a cut to some of the artwork in the panels every once and awhile that would have been great.The artwork is apparently very "Manga-ish", I'll have to take your word on it since there is no visual examples of it. Also, I still have no idea what the comic cover even looks like. Should be more self-contained.

NO! That's my pikachu! It won't get back into its pokeball. It sleeps on my bed. I wouldn't mind so much, but he electrocutes me when he has nightmares. I don't think it causes any permanent damage, though. I just get stuck in several humorous poses for a second or so at a time. I breathe out smoke sometimes, though. That might not be good. But I typically just go back to sleep and I find I'm perfectly healthy within seconds. Also,? I find I can walk off cliffs if I don't look down.
